week 38
Why does it seem so surreal to me, after 9.5 months of having a growing baby living inside of me, that there will really be a baby here soon? One that we will love, feed, change, dress in cute baby clothes from her growing closet of cute baby clothes. Of the abundance of clothes in her closet, I really haven't bought her much of anything, for which I am super thankful. However, there comes a time where a mommy must buy her daughter something(s) adorable…
Because if she's anything like me and her aunties and her cousins, you can't keep us out of the water, or away from it. I ordered her this one, too, and a super cute headband I can't wait to see her in!
Anyways, here I am at 38 weeks pregnant.
Walking on the beach at 38 weeks pregnant is harder than I thought it would be. I'd rather do a back squat PR than walk on the beach right now.
Feeling: Still lots of contractions, but nothing to head to the hospital over. Yet :)
Not feeling: I actually don't feel like doing much of anything! I'm so tired, all I've been wanting to do is sleep!
Weight Gain: 30 lbs at 38 week checkup.
Projects: For some reason I just keep cleaning… a little bit at a time, but I organized the storage in our master bathroom vanity the other day. Patrick was excited; he finally has his own drawer. #littlevictories
Planning: For the arrival of our baby girl.
Best thing this week: I worked from home this week - that was extremely helpful in the comfort department.
Taking a break from waiting and heading to the beach.

And a walk in Riverbend Park.
Generally, just trying to enjoy every moment with the hubby until she gets here.
